Integrations
Mailchimp
Add form submitters to a Mailchimp audience automatically on submission. Available on Basic and higher plans.
Last updated June 15, 2026
The Mailchimp integration subscribes the customer's email to a Mailchimp audience (list) when a form is submitted.
Available on Basic and higher plans.
Setup
Get your Mailchimp API Key
In Mailchimp, go to Account → Extras → API Keys and create an API key.
Add the key to Global Settings
In SK Form Builder → Global Settings → Mailchimp:
- Toggle Enable Mailchimp on
- Paste your API Key
- Save
Get the List ID (Audience ID)
In Mailchimp, go to Audience → Manage Audience → Settings → Audience name and defaults. The Audience ID is listed there.
Enable on the form
In the form builder → Settings → Integrations → Mailchimp:
- Enter the List ID
- Save
How it works
When a form is submitted:
- The app reads the submitted Email field.
- It subscribes that email to your Mailchimp audience.
- If the contact already exists, their subscription status is updated.
Email field required
An Email field must be on the form for Mailchimp integration to work.
Different audiences per form
Each form can be connected to a different Mailchimp audience. Set the List ID individually per form.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Check |
|---|---|
| Contacts not appearing | Confirm the API Key in Global Settings is correct |
| Wrong audience | Double-check the Audience ID in Mailchimp audience settings |
| Mailchimp compliance warning | Ensure you have proper opt-in consent language on your form before using Mailchimp |
